Description: Bud Kennedy, a known liberal columnist for the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, slipped into Worldview Weekend's Biblical Worldview Code Blue Rally in Ft. Worth, Texas and then wrote an error filled, mean-spirited attack on Brannon and Bible-minded Christians. In addition, Bud led his readers to believe that Pastor Bob Pearle, of the hosting church, was not in agreement with the content of the conference. Pastor Pearle and Brannon discuss the column and use it as an example of how the liberal media tries to characterize and marginalize Christians, paint them as kooks and thus intimidate other Christians from standing and speaking up for truth. We also take your calls from across America including a phone call from a 30 year resident of Ft. Worth that was appalled but not surprised by Bud's yellow journalism.

When are you (plural) going to stop hiding behind the "Christian" label while spreading your conservative dogma. You all are no better than the old "Dixiecrats" who have been hiding under the Republican Party banner. It sickened me to hear June Hunt last night at the Religious Broadcasters' annual meeting talking of how much she admired Sarah Palin. Have you really listened to the Alaska Governor's morals (listen to her daughter's ideas about abstinence)? Please get it right because there's going to soon be some separating of the "wheat from the taff."

Satan has his worms that are doing his bidding everywhere! I've been a Christian for sometime now but when these darts fly sometimes a Christian just wants to act as Peter did with the guard and his ear! You worry them because your right and doing the Lords work!

I had the pleasure of attending a Code Blue Rally on Saturday, Feb 21, 2009 with my son. The attacks on the Christian morals in order to push the liberal agenda is something that I have been trying to teach my son before he left for college - he needs the armor of God to help him see how the media is trying to shape our worldviews. Thank you for making the mp3 available. I plan on our family listening to the mp3 and then reading the article so that they can see how we are under attack. The article is real piece of work - a prime example of a twisted cultural attack on Christians. I applaud your tireless efforts to help us Christians see the truth. It was a pleasure to meet you and to attend the Code Blue, more then I can express in this little blog. Thank you Brannon!
